Quorum jobs fair returns with hundreds of work and training opportunities

Quorum Jobs Fair is returning for its fifth year with two events for anyone looking to find work or change career.

The events, to be held virtually and in-person at TDR Training in Quorum Park, will take place in November and will host hundreds of businesses and employers, showcasing a variety of jobs and training opportunities.

A number of employers based in North Tyneside’s Quorum Park are currently looking to recruit staff; the upcoming jobs fair offers the chance to meet directly with these companies and learn about their vacancies.

Visitors can expect to see and network with a wide range of businesses, including event sponsor Concentrix, Greggs, Verisure, SITEL, Northumbria NHS Foundation Trust, Tesco Underwriting, British Engines, North Tyneside Council and many more.

Available opportunities will cover a range of positions and commitments: full or part time roles, apprenticeships and graduate opportunities, and training programmes and courses. Similarly, roles will range across the board from entry to senior level in many areas, such as customer service, IT, social care and finance.

The event offers a unique insight into the culture of working at Quorum, too. Quorum Park offers a community lifestyle that enhances your working day. The park boasts first-class amenities, such as restaurants, a nursery, gym and outdoor spaces, and ‘Q Card’ holders can access over 150 locally based business offers including free access to the Quorum Sports Club and a host of different discounts.

Quorum Park’s Events and Sustainability Lead, Laura McGrath said: “The Quorum Jobs Fair offers us a great opportunity to showcase the wealth of job opportunities available within the office park.

“From entry level to high profile management roles, there is something for everyone.

“We’re also keen to cement the park’s status as a really attractive location to work from.”

Cllr Hannah Johnson, cabinet member for Inclusion, Employment and Skills at North Tyneside Council, said: “We are very lucky in North Tyneside to have so many ‘big’, recognisable employers based locally.

“The council is proud to support Quorum Jobs Fair to show off this asset and help our residents to find and make their way into employment.

“There are hundreds of fantastic opportunities on offer right here in our borough, that is something I am always eager to promote and share with all residents in North Tyneside.”

The virtual event will be hosted on Tuesday 15 November11am to 12:30pm.

The in-person event will be held on Thursday 17 November10am to 2pm at TDR Training, Quorum Park.

Thank you to TDR Training for attending and offering their venue for the event.

Both events are a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for work to engage with thriving businesses in the area and network in a vibrant and happy business community.
