Jason Donovan Support Act Still Performing Despite Cancelled Concert

Local South Shields band, Two Meters Apart, will now be performing at The New Sundial at 2:30PM today.

It is a free event, which the The New Sundial have swiftly staged to ensure that local talent can still be showcased despite the cancellation of Jason Donovan’s concert.

The Australian Neighbours star was set to perform at Bents Park this afternoon. However, the South Tyneside Council made the difficult decision yesterday to cancel the concert due to forecasted strong winds.

Two Meters Apart, which features Customs House pantomime star Davey Hopper, were set to open for Donovan, as well as release their new merchandise.

You can now catch the band at The New Sundial, before indie band Eli take the stage downstairs at 5PM.
