Help Save Sea-change Cafe
A community Cafe in South Shields that supports the unemployment, isolation and lack of opportunity that teaches transferable skills such as effective communication, teamwork, health & safety in the workplace, and time management is facing financial pressure.
Their energy providers have hiked the rates by nearly 400%, and their food and drink suppliers have increased prices by up to 100%. In the face of the current economic climate, passing these costs onto the loyal customers is simply impossible, but without support, Sea Change will not survive.
A Crowdfunder page has been set up in aid of the community business so that they can continue supporting people with additional needs. So far, the community has rasied over £15,000 to support the organisation.
