Discover your next venture with North Tyneside Council’s 2023/24 Adult Learning Guide

The launch of North Tyneside Council’s 2023/24 Adult Learning Guide proves it’s never too late to start learning.

Whether you are preparing for a job, starting a new career or looking to build your skills, there’s something for everyone in North Tyneside Council’s 2023/24 Adult Learning Guide.

Boasting a wide range of courses; from Health and Social Care to Digital Skills, to English and Maths, the guide is designed to help learners find the best course to suit their needs.

Learning is about more than just building skills and gaining experience; North Tyneside Council’s Adult Learning courses are specially designed to support the wellbeing and boost the confidence of learners.

Undertaking an educational course as an adult may feel challenging, especially for people with busy lives and alternative prior commitments. That’s why the Council’s Employment and Skills service works with learners to create personalised, flexible study programmes that suit their lifestyle. Whether its daytime, evening or online classes learners are looking for, choosing the course that’s right for them has never been simpler.

Learners will receive outstanding support from passionate student services and learning support teams: from help with childcare and course fees to one-to-one appointments with wellbeing mentors.

They will work with dedicated expert course leaders to build their skills and knowledge.

Elected Mayor of North Tyneside, Dame Norma Redfearn DBE said; “In North Tyneside, we believe everyone should have opportunities to grow and thrive and our specialist adult courses are designed to support learners to do just that.

“We know it can be difficult to juggle the commitments of adult life, but with a personalised and individual approach to studying, it’s never too late to start learning.

“If you’re looking to enhance your skills or improve your job prospects, I’d encourage you to speak with a member of our team and find the course that’s right for you.”
